These terms apply to all digital products purchased from Simple Project (plugin packages, plugins, maps, launcher and website themes). By purchasing you accept them.
Scope of the license
- A purchase grants you the right to use the product on a single server/network; ownership is not transferred.
- The license is tied to the purchasing account and is non-transferable. If you hand over your server, contact support to request a license transfer; transfers require our approval.
- Using the same product on a second server requires a second license.
IP binding and verification
- Products that require a license are bound to your server's IP address on the first successful verification. Requests from a different IP are rejected.
- You can reset the IP yourself from the account area 3 times per month; for more, contact support.
- The plugin periodically sends a verification request to our license server. Only the license key, product name, plugin version and server IP are transmitted.
- If the verification server is temporarily unreachable, the plugin keeps the last valid state for a reasonable period.
Prohibited
- Reselling, sharing, leaking or publicly posting the product.
- Removing or bypassing the license check, reverse engineering the code, or recompiling and redistributing it.
- Presenting the product as your own; removing brand and copyright notices.
- Using the product on servers that are unlawful or infringe third-party rights.
Breaches result in immediate license revocation without refund.
Updates
- New versions of a purchased product (Minecraft version compatibility, fixes, improvements) are added to your account at no extra cost.
- If development of a product is discontinued, it is announced at least 6 months in advance; versions published until then remain downloadable.
- Next-generation products with major scope changes (e.g. "v3") may be sold separately; existing customers receive an upgrade discount.
Suspension and revocation
- On refund, chargeback or dispute, the related licenses and download access are closed automatically.
- Suspicious verification traffic (many different IPs, excessive requests in a short time) may put a license under review; we will contact you.
- A suspended license is reactivated once the issue is resolved.
Custom development license
For plugins written from scratch under a quote, the usage right is stated in the quote. Unless agreed otherwise in writing:
- You may use the compiled product on your own server indefinitely.
- Source code delivery and exclusivity (not doing the same work for others) apply only if priced separately in the quote.
- Rights to general-purpose libraries and infrastructure code remain with Simple Project.
Support
Installation and configuration support is provided via Discord. Support is limited to the documented features of the product; server-specific development requests are handled as quotes.
